20 Years of Situation. 20 Years of Thanks.
This past month marked the 20th year in business for Situation. Time sure does fly when you’re having fun.
Situation has been such a fundamental part of my life since founding the company back in 2001 and a blessing in so many ways for which I will be forever grateful. The people whom I’ve come across along this journey — many reading this now — have had a profound impact on my life. Mentors, friends and simply good souls who made me a better person just by knowing you. And especially my Situation team members, many of whom I’ve known for over a decade. I’ve been to agency colleague weddings, funerals, kids’ birthday parties and everything in between. It’s among the true honors of my life to both work with you and learn from you.
There are so many people I owe a warm thank you to for helping us reach this incredible milestone — too many to name in one email. So to pay my gratitude forward, I’ve taken some time to reflect, digest and write out the wisdom these phenomenal people have shared with me over the years. The thoughtful advice I was so fortunate to receive from so many generous individuals to hopefully help others navigate their own career journey.
To my friends and mentors — thank you for being you and helping me be the best version of me.
